3m Espe Ketac Cem Glass Ionomer Luting Cement

3M Introducing  reliable glass ionomer cement for dental restorations! Not only does it provide fluoride release, but it also creates strong bonds and ensures a precise fit. Trust us to take care of your dental needs with this amazing product!

This dental cement is widely used in various clinical scenarios, making it suitable for cementing inlays, onlays, crowns, and bridges made from different materials such as metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM), all-alumina, or all-zirconia strengthened core ceramics. It is also highly effective in cementing posts and screws, making it an invaluable tool in restorative dentistry. Its adhesive properties are beneficial for orthodontic bands and cavity lining, making it a versatile product in dental practices.

One of the notable qualities of this dental cement is its high fluoride release, which contributes to improved oral health by promoting enamel remineralization and strengthening teeth. Moreover, Ketac™ Cem Radiopaque forms strong bonds with both enamel and dentin, significantly reducing the risk of microleakage, a common concern in dental restorations. Its excellent biocompatibility ensures patient safety and comfort during and after dental procedures.

Furthermore, Ketac™ Cem Radiopaque offers high radiopacity, aiding in post-operative assessment and enabling dental practitioners to effectively monitor the restoration's integrity.

The application process is straightforward, beginning with tooth preparation before cementation. The powder and liquid components are mixed to achieve the desired consistency, and the resulting mixture is applied thinly and evenly to the inner surface of the restoration. This ensures a secure bond without applying excess pressure during seating.
